Beadwork

The beadwork represented here comes from two different tribes, the Shona in Zimbabwe, and the Ndebele in South Africa. The Ndebele use beautiful, colorful glass beads to weave garments and adornments, while the Shona string the beads on wire and twist them into fanciful animals. Both processes are painstaking, but the results are amazing.
